Big Robbie G is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Altona, MB. Rob got his first acoustic guitar in 1986 at age 15. The following year he joined bluegrass band, True Grit, setting off his love of performing music. In 2012, Rob formed his Latin rock band, Quadrivium, which included his son, Silas Presley on bass guitar and percussion. Additionally, the father-son duo played with several other band lineups at local blues festivals, performing alongside acts like Robert Cray and Colin James. In 2022, Big Robbie G's musical impact on his son led to him becoming the bassist for Silas Presley. Influenced by musicians like John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and Benny Rietveld (Santana), Rob's distinct bass tone can be heard as it has evolved in the songwriting of his son.
Simon Delmont
Keyboardist
Simon Delmont is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Altona, MB. Simon began taking piano lessons at age 3 but soon decided to pursue the drums instead, fuelling his love of rhythm and groove. After years of taking lessons from his acclaimed drum teacher, Mike Hiebert, Simon started jamming with Silas Presley while they were in high school together. During this time, they produced countless tracks at Green Couch Studio. After a short stint in 2021 as the drummer/percussionist of “No More Wallpaper,” Simon began to get back into keyboards, co-writing “Oceanum Rosea” with Silas that same year. In April 2023, Simon joined Silas Presley's band, where he now shines on organ, electric piano, synthesizer, and acoustic piano. Taught by the renowned Loren Hiebert and inspired by bands like The Alan Parsons Project, Yes, and Uriah Heep, Simon Delmont describes his approach to the keys as "simple and tasteful."
